Well here's my entry for the PokeCon Contest...Thank you so much for the extra time...
Despite this extra time though I still wasn't able to finish this picture as much as I wanted to...I still need to shade it and I had hoped to make the hair a tad darker...but other than that I am delighted how well it came out...I was puzzled as to how I was going to color the field of flowers...so I decided to just jump in...
Process:
Look for resources online, watch the Pokemon movies, etc.
Basically do my research...that's what took me so long...
Then I sketched it, inked it, and colored it with colored pencil...
The initials in the tree are for my boyfriend and me...we just celebrated our 19 month anniversary... it's the little things that count...
